the binoculars late war, circa 1944-45 and for Wehrmacht issue, with black crackle-finish barrels, gloss furniture, the prism housing only marked with the wartime Zeiss factory code 'blc', independent focussing to each eye-piece, rubber eye-guards and complete with neck-strap and bakelite rain-guard, together with an earlier black leather case for same produced and signed by Walter Winkler of Spandau, waffenampt marked and dated 1942, weight of binoculars approx. 2 1/2lbs.
